AWS Control Tower improves Hooks management for proactive controls and extends proactive controls support in additional regions

AWS Control Tower has enhanced its Hooks management for proactive controls with several key improvements:
- Proactive control Hooks are now directly managed by AWS Control Tower
- Customers can now author their own Hooks while using AWS Control Tower proactive controls
- Proactive controls expanded to new regions: Canada West (Calgary) and Asia Pacific (Malaysia)
- Controls help meet objectives like establishing logging, encrypting data, and improving resiliency
These proactive controls use AWS CloudFormation Hooks to identify and block non-compliant resources before they are provisioned, providing enhanced governance and compliance capabilities across AWS environments.
