AWS has announced a zero-ETL integration between Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon SageMaker Lakehouse, enabling seamless analytics and machine learning workflows without complex data pipelines.
- Eliminates the need for custom data pipeline infrastructure
- Allows running analytics and ML workloads with just a few clicks
- Does not consume DynamoDB table capacity
- Uses Apache Iceberg for data transformation to Amazon S3
- Supports data encryption with AWS KMS
The integration reduces operational complexity, allowing organizations to focus on extracting insights from operational data stored in DynamoDB. It is currently available in multiple AWS regions including US East, US West, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
