Amazon S3 Access Grants now integrates with AWS Glue, providing enhanced permission management for analytics, machine learning, and application development workloads.
- Maps identities from Identity Providers or IAM principals to S3 datasets
- Enables permission management for Glue 5.0+ jobs without writing bucket policies or IAM roles
- Allows granting S3 permissions to users and groups in corporate directories
- Automatically updates S3 permissions when users are added or removed from user groups
- Available in all commercial AWS Regions where Glue 5.0 and IAM Identity Center are supported
