Announcing larger General Purpose bundles for WorkSpaces Personal and Core

AWS has introduced two new large General Purpose bundles for Amazon WorkSpaces Personal and Core, targeting professionals with resource-intensive workloads.
- GeneralPurpose.4xlarge bundle: 16 vCPUs, 64 GB RAM
- GeneralPurpose.8xlarge bundle: 32 vCPUs, 128 GB RAM
- Both include 175GB root volume and 100GB user volume
- Designed for developers, scientists, financial analysts, and engineers
- Supports demanding applications like Visual Studio, MatLab, and R
- Available in most AWS regions supporting WorkSpaces
- Supports Windows Server 2022 and Windows 11 via BYOL
These new bundles offer a flexible, pay-as-you-go alternative to traditional physical workstations with on-demand scaling capabilities.
