AWS has introduced two new large General Purpose bundles for Amazon WorkSpaces Personal and Core, targeting professionals with resource-intensive workloads.

<li>GeneralPurpose.4xlarge bundle: 16 vCPUs, 64 GB RAM</li>
<li>GeneralPurpose.8xlarge bundle: 32 vCPUs, 128 GB RAM</li>
<li>Both include 175GB root volume and 100GB user volume</li>
<li>Designed for developers, scientists, financial analysts, and engineers</li>
<li>Supports demanding applications like Visual Studio, MatLab, and R</li>
<li>Available in most AWS regions supporting WorkSpaces</li>
<li>Supports Windows Server 2022 and Windows 11 via BYOL</li>
</ul>
<p>
These new bundles offer a flexible, pay-as-you-go alternative to traditional physical workstations with on-demand scaling capabilities.
