Blog
AWS has announced the general availability of Amazon VPC Lattice, a new networking service that simplifies service-to-service connectivity, security, and monitoring across different compute environments.
- Provides a consistent way to connect services across instances, containers, and serverless applications
- Supports custom domain names and SSL/TLS certificates
- Enables Kubernetes integration via AWS Gateway API Controller
- Allows using Application Load Balancers and Network Load Balancers as targets
- Supports IPv6 connectivity
- Uses IAM for zero-trust authentication and authorization
VPC Lattice simplifies service communication across different AWS accounts and VPCs, allowing teams to focus on application logic rather than networking complexities.
