This article announces six new Amazon QuickSight APIs for automating deployment, backup, and replication of BI assets across accounts and environments.

• Export APIs enable programmatic extraction of dashboards, analyses, datasets, data sources, themes, and VPC configurations
• Import APIs enable creation or updating of assets in destination accounts with data source configuration overrides
• Asset bundles exported as .qs zip files with JSON structure compatible with version control systems
• CloudFormation template export option available for infrastructure-as-code management
• Supports multi-region, multi-account deployments to meet data residency and governance requirements
• Enables scheduled backups and disaster recovery workflows
• Deployment history tracking via ListAssetBundleExportJobs and ListAssetBundleImportJobs APIs

These new APIs enable BIOps teams to automate QuickSight asset deployments at scale across development, testing, and production environments without manual intervention.
