This article announces that AWS DataSync now generally supports copying data to and from Azure Blob Storage, enabling seamless data transfers between Azure and AWS storage services.
- DataSync enables large-scale data movement between Azure Blob Storage and AWS storage services
- Supports writing to block blobs and reading from all Azure Blob Storage blob types
- Compatible with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen 2
- Automatically compresses data, identifies changed objects, and recovers from network interruptions
- Integrates with CloudWatch and EventBridge for monitoring
- Also supports Google Cloud Storage, Azure Files, NFS, SMB, HDFS, and AWS storage services
- Available in all AWS Regions except China regions
