AWS has announced new Amazon EC2 instances (C7gd, M7gd, and R7gd) powered by AWS Graviton3 processors with local NVMe-based SSD storage.

  • Powered by Graviton3 processors with up to 25% higher performance
  • Includes locally attached NVMe SSD drives up to 2 x 1.9 TB
  • Up to 45% better real-time NVMe storage performance than Graviton2 instances
  • Optimized for compute-intensive, general purpose, and memory-intensive workloads
  • Uses up to 60% less energy compared to comparable EC2 instances

Available in US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), and Europe (Ireland) regions, these instances offer improved performance and energy efficiency for various computing needs.
