This article outlines AWS End User Messaging's supported 10DLC campaign types and SMS quotas for US-based phone numbers.

  • 10DLC registration requires selecting at least one campaign use case
  • Throughput determined by company vetting score and message content, not number quantity
  • Standard campaigns: vetting scores 76-100 support 75 MPS; 51-75 support 40 MPS; 1-49 support 4 MPS
  • Mixed/Marketing campaigns: scores 86-100 support 75 MPS; 66-85 support 40 MPS; 26-65 support 4 MPS
  • Twelve standard use cases supported: Account Notifications, Customer Care, Delivery Notifications, Fraud Alerts, Higher Education, Marketing, 2FA/OTP, Security Alerts, PSA, Polling, Low Volume, Mixed
  • Special use case: Charity/501(c)(3) Nonprofit organizations
  • Default 1 MPS per number; MPS increase requests required for higher throughput
