This article announces the general availability of the Kubernetes attributes processor in AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry (ADOT) collector.
- Kubernetes attributes processor now available in ADOT collector
- Enriches telemetry signals with Kubernetes-specific metadata at collection time
- Enables filtering and correlation of traces and metrics by namespace or pod
- Works with StatsD, X-Ray, and OTLP receivers
- Integrates with Amazon Managed Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, X-Ray, and OpenSearch
- Deploy via CloudFormation, CLI, kubectl, or ADOT EKS add-on
ADOT now enables Kubernetes-native observability by enriching telemetry data with cluster metadata for enhanced filtering and correlation across AWS observability services.
