  • M6i instances: general-purpose with 4:1 memory-to-vCPU ratio
  • T3 instances: moderate CPU usage with temporary spike capability
  • R6i and M6i deliver 15% better price performance than R5 and M5
  • New 32xlarge size offers 128 vCPUs and 33% more memory
  • Powered by 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors

RDS Custom for Oracle now supports additional instance types for legacy and custom applications requiring OS and database environment access.
