Amazon RDS now supports M6g and R6g database instances in six additional AWS regions

This article announces the expansion of AWS Graviton2-based M6g and R6g database instances to six additional AWS regions for Amazon RDS.
- M6g and R6g instances now available in Africa (Cape Town), Asia Pacific (Jakarta, Melbourne, Osaka), Europe (Zurich), Middle East (Bahrain)
- Total availability expanded to 25 regions globally
- Supported on PostgreSQL 12.11+, 13.7+, 14.3+, 15.2+
- T4g instances available on MySQL 8.0.33+ and MariaDB 10.4.30+
- Instances can be created via Amazon RDS Management Console
This regional expansion provides customers with more options for deploying cost-effective, high-performance database instances using AWS Graviton2 processors.
