- Maximum searchable data size increased from 1 TB to 6 TB per collection
- OpenSearch Compute Unit (OCU) limits raised from 50 to 100 for indexing and search
- Auto-scaling automatically adjusts resources based on workload demand
- Multiple 6 TB collections can be created for further scalability
- Pay only for resources consumed, not maximum OCU configuration
- Improved support for log analytics, machine learning, and ecommerce applications
