This article announces the availability of Amazon Route 53 Resolver DNS Firewall in two new AWS regions.
- Route 53 Resolver DNS Firewall now available in Middle East (UAE) and Israel (Tel Aviv) regions
- Managed firewall blocks DNS queries for malicious or low-reputation domains
- Allows DNS queries for trusted domains only
- Create blocklists to prevent VPC resources from accessing specified domains
- Create allowlists for stricter "walled-garden" DNS access control
- Feature of Route 53 Resolver, available by default in all VPCs
Route 53 Resolver DNS Firewall expands to new regions, providing enhanced DNS security controls for customers in the Middle East and Israel.
