Amazon EFS now supports up to 20 GiB/s of throughput
News
The article announces an increase in the maximum throughput performance for Amazon Elastic File System (EFS) file systems using Elastic Throughput mode. The throughput limits have been increased by up to 2x, now allowing up to 20 GiB/s of read throughput and up to 5 GiB/s of write throughput.
Specifically, the article covers:
- Amazon EFS provides serverless, fully elastic file storage in the AWS cloud
- Elastic Throughput mode in EFS automatically scales throughput performance up or down based on application needs
