AWS announces support for Cost Allocation Tags on AWS Transit Gateway

  • AWS Transit Gateway now supports Cost Allocation Tags
  • Previously, customers could only categorize Attachment Hours costs by tagging attachments
  • Now, customers can also categorize data processing and data transfer charges by tagging the AWS Transit Gateway resource
  • The feature is available in all regions and can be enabled through the AWS Management Console, CLI, or SDK
