Linux Support Updates for AWS CLI v2

This article announces the official Linux distribution support policy for the AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI) v2. Beginning September 16, 2024, AWS CLI v2 will provide compatibility with Linux distributions based on GNU C Library (glibc) version 2.17 or later.
