Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra) now supports adding Regions to existing Keyspaces

Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra) has introduced a new feature that allows users to add Regions to existing Keyspaces without recreating them.

• Users can now convert single-Region Keyspaces to multi-Region Keyspaces
• Add new Regions to existing multi-Region Keyspaces seamlessly
• Enables lower read and write latencies by adding Regions closer to application traffic
• Improves application availability and resiliency
• AWS fully manages the Region addition process, including data population
• Allows continued read and write operations during Region addition
