Expanded purchase order functionality in AWS Marketplace

AWS Marketplace Blog

AWS Marketplace has expanded its purchase order (PO) management functionality to provide more flexible and comprehensive invoice management for customers.

  • Customers can now add unique PO numbers for pay-as-you-go products
  • Separate PO numbers can be applied for usage and fixed-fee charges
  • Users can view charge summaries and associated PO numbers in the AWS Marketplace console
  • PO numbers can be added or updated after subscription for future invoices

To use these features, AWS administrators must enable AWS Marketplace billing integration and provide users with appropriate IAM permissions. This enhancement simplifies cost allocation and invoice tracking for AWS Marketplace purchases.
