News

Amazon Timestream for Live Analytics has introduced Provisioned Timestream Compute Units (TCUs), a new feature for managing query performance and costs:

  • Allows provisioning dedicated compute resources for time-series database queries
  • Provides predictable performance and cost control
  • Can be provisioned in multiples of 4, ranging from 4 to 1,000 TCUs
  • Currently supported only in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region
  • Enables users to adjust compute resources as workload evolves

Users can set up Provisioned TCUs through the AWS console, SDK, or CLI to optimize query performance and resource allocation.
