Boost productivity with imported visuals in Amazon QuickSight

Amazon QuickSight has introduced a new "Import Visuals" feature designed to boost productivity and collaboration in business intelligence dashboard creation.

• Allows users to import visuals from existing dashboards or analyses with a single click
• Automatically transfers dependencies like datasets, parameters, and calculated fields
• Resolves conflicts and eliminates duplicates during import
• Imported visuals are forked from the source and no longer linked to the original
• Supports theme inheritance in the destination analysis

The feature has some current limitations, such as importing only from a single sheet and excluding certain visual types like text boxes and image components. Docebo, a learning management system provider, has already successfully implemented this feature to enhance their analytics offering.
