Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases has introduced new features for data ingestion and management:

  • Support for custom connectors and streaming data ingestion
  • Ability to add, update, or delete data directly through API calls
  • Enables ingesting specific documents from custom data sources or Amazon S3
  • Allows continuous updates without full data syncs
  • Can be used via console or programmatically

Key benefits include reduced latency, lower operational costs, and improved data relevance for generative AI applications. The feature is available in all Bedrock Knowledge Bases regions at no additional cost, making it easier for businesses like financial firms to keep their AI systems updated with the latest information.
