AWS has announced the general availability of Amazon MemoryDB Multi-Region, a fully managed, active-active, multi-Region database service for building high-availability applications.

  • Offers up to 99.999% availability with microsecond read and millisecond write latencies
  • Supports Valkey and Redis OSS compatibility
  • Enables active-active replication across multiple Regions
  • Automatically resolves data conflicts and synchronizes within one second
  • Supports up to five Regions for data replication

Available in multiple AWS Regions across the US, Asia Pacific, and Europe, MemoryDB Multi-Region simplifies building globally distributed, resilient applications with low-latency data access.
