AWS has announced a public preview of the Amazon Q Business and Amazon QuickSight integration, enabling a unified approach to accessing insights from both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Amazon Q Business can now provide answers by combining information from databases, warehouses, documents, wikis, and emails
- Users can link structured data sources through QuickSight's data connectors
- Enables real-time responses that include PDF report insights and QuickSight charts/metrics
- Available for Amazon Q Business Pro and QuickSight Reader/Author Pro users
- Currently supported in US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) regions
This integration aims to simplify data insights by providing a comprehensive, generative AI-powered solution that reduces complexity in gathering and understanding enterprise information.
