AWS supports ARPA-H Sprint for Women’s Health to advance crucial research and solutions

AWS announced a $2 million commitment in AWS credits to support four ARPA-H Sprint for Women's Health awardees conducting innovative research in women's health:

  • University of Iowa: Developing personalized nanoparticles for treating late-stage ovarian cancer
  • Aspira Women's Health: Creating a non-invasive diagnostic tool for endometriosis
  • Gameto: Developing a cell-therapy implant to manage menopause-associated symptoms
  • Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center: Validating a non-invasive MRI metric for neurological disorders

The initiative leverages AWS cloud technologies like HealthOmics, HealthImaging, and Amazon Bedrock to accelerate healthcare research and provide advanced computational resources to researchers.
