Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases now supports GraphRAG, a new preview capability that enhances Generative AI applications using graph-based Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
- Enables more comprehensive and explainable responses by identifying key entities and relationships across documents
- Uses Amazon Neptune Analytics as a vector store to generate and store vector embeddings
- Allows developers to create complex, multi-step searches across disparate content
- Provides an example use case of finding family-friendly beach destinations with specific attributes
- Offers easy integration with just a few clicks when creating a knowledge base
GraphRAG is built into Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases with no additional setup or charges, available in select AWS regions where Amazon Bedrock and Neptune Analytics are supported.
