Amazon Q Developer can now guide SageMaker Canvas users through ML development

Amazon has introduced Amazon Q Developer for SageMaker Canvas, a new generative AI-powered tool that helps users build machine learning models using natural language.

• Helps users of all skill levels create high-quality ML models
• Can break down objectives into specific ML tasks
• Defines appropriate ML problem types and applies data preparation techniques
• Supports building, evaluating, and deploying custom ML models
• Allows model registration in SageMaker Studio and code sharing

Currently available in preview across multiple AWS regions, the tool aims to accelerate ML development and innovation by making the process more accessible through natural language interaction.
