Amazon has introduced a new scenario analysis capability in Amazon Q within QuickSight, enabling business users to perform complex data analyses using natural language and AI guidance.
- Helps users solve complex problems by guiding them through step-by-step data analysis
- Suggests analytical approaches and automatically analyzes data
- Can perform scenario analysis up to 10x faster than traditional spreadsheet methods
- Connects to multiple data sources like Amazon Athena, Aurora, Redshift, and S3
- Allows users to upload CSV or Excel files for analysis
- Provides suggested questions and actionable insights
Currently available in preview for QuickSight Pro users in US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) regions, with a free 30-day trial option.
