Amazon CloudWatch has introduced a new feature providing centralized visibility into telemetry configurations across AWS services.
- Allows auditing of telemetry configurations for services like VPC Flow Logs, EC2 Detailed Metrics, and Lambda Traces
- Integrates with AWS Config to discover resources
- Can be enabled organization-wide using AWS Organizations
- Helps identify monitoring gaps in infrastructure setup
- Enables refinement of views by accounts, resource types, or tags
The new feature is available in multiple global regions at no additional cost, and can be accessed through the CloudWatch Console or programmatically via API/CLI.
