Amazon IVS has introduced a new thumbnail recording feature for Real-Time Streaming that enables automatic image generation during live video streams.

  • Automatically generates thumbnail images at configurable intervals
  • Stores generated thumbnails in a specified Amazon S3 bucket
  • Can be used for content discovery and moderation workflows
  • No additional cost for thumbnail recording
  • Standard Amazon S3 storage and request costs apply

This feature enhances Amazon IVS's live streaming capabilities by providing easy thumbnail generation for content creators and platform managers.
