  • Powered by 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors
  • Support up to 200 Gbps network bandwidth
  • Built on AWS Nitro System for improved performance and security
  • Designed for low-latency applications like real-time gaming, media production, and AR/VR
  • Can be enabled through EC2 Console or ModifyAvailabilityZoneGroup API

The Dallas Local Zone brings AWS infrastructure closer to population and industry centers, enabling faster and more efficient computing for edge use cases.
