Amazon Redshift supports auto and incremental refresh of Materialized Views for zero-ETL integrations

News

Amazon Redshift has introduced support for automatically and incrementally refreshable materialized views (MVs) in zero-ETL integrations, offering significant improvements in data processing:

  • Eliminates full data refreshes, which previously required re-executing select statements
  • Enables automatic updates of materialized views as underlying data changes
  • Provides near real-time insights for high-volume, dynamic datasets
  • Reduces operational workload by removing manual refresh operations
  • Improves query response times and data integration efficiency

This feature simplifies data management by automatically maintaining materialized views, making zero-ETL integrations more streamlined and performant for organizations.
