Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB has expanded its network connectivity by introducing support for Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) addresses.
- Enables customers to create InfluxDB instances with IPv6 addresses
- Supports both IPv4 and IPv6 network configurations
- Addresses the exhaustion of IPv4 addresses
- Allows customers to simplify their network stack
- Available in all existing Timestream for InfluxDB regions
The feature provides more flexibility for network configuration and helps organizations prepare for the continued expansion of internet addressing capabilities.
