Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB has expanded its network connectivity by introducing support for Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) addresses.

  • Enables customers to create InfluxDB instances with IPv6 addresses
  • Supports both IPv4 and IPv6 network configurations
  • Addresses the exhaustion of IPv4 addresses
  • Allows customers to simplify their network stack
  • Available in all existing Timestream for InfluxDB regions

The feature provides more flexibility for network configuration and helps organizations prepare for the continued expansion of internet addressing capabilities.
