AWS has announced Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) support for Bottlerocket, its Linux-based container operating system.
- EFA support enables better performance for AI, ML, and HPC workloads
- Compatible with G4, G5, P4, and P5 instance types
- Bottlerocket automatically optimizes huge pages and memory limits for containers
- Available on first-party Bottlerocket AMIs from version 1.28.0
- Supported in all commercial AWS Regions and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions
