Query transaction finality information from public blockchains using Amazon Managed Blockchain Query

Blog

AWS has enhanced Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) Query to enable retrieval of transaction data before finalization, providing more transparency in blockchain transactions.

  • AMB Query now allows retrieval of both finalized and non-finalized transaction data
  • Helps solve challenges in tracking transaction status across different blockchain networks
  • Key APIs enhanced include GetTransaction, ListTransactions, and ListTransactionEvents
  • Particularly useful for digital asset custody scenarios requiring real-time transaction tracking
  • Provides clarity on transaction status with 'FINAL' and 'NONFINAL' confirmation statuses

The enhancement simplifies blockchain data querying by offering a unified, managed service that reduces infrastructure complexity and provides faster insights into blockchain transactions.
