AWS CodeBuild has enhanced its batch build capabilities with new compute options and resource management features:
- Support for reserved capacity fleets and Lambda compute in batch builds
- Ability to mix on-demand instances, reserved capacity, and Lambda compute resources
- Enables simultaneous execution of multiple coordinated builds within a project
- Supports build sequencing through build lists, matrices, and dependency graphs
- Available in 10 AWS regions, including US, South America, Asia Pacific, and Europe
The enhancement provides developers with more flexibility in managing complex build processes, offering improved orchestration and resource allocation for continuous integration workflows.
