AWS now accepts payments in 8 new local currencies

AWS has expanded its payment options by adding support for eight new local currencies, enhancing payment flexibility for customers in the US and Europe.
- New US currencies: Chilean Peso (CLP), Colombian Peso (COP), Uruguayan Peso (UYU)
- New European currencies: Egyptian Pound (EGP), Nigerian Naira (NGN), Polish Zloty (PLN), Romanian Leu (RON), Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH)
- Benefits include avoiding foreign exchange costs and reducing payment friction
- Customers can change payment currency in AWS account's "Billing and Cost Management" page
- Invoices will be generated in the selected local currency
This update allows customers to pay in their local currencies, simplifying billing and reducing financial transaction complexities.
