Amazon Q Developer plugin for CloudZero is now generally available

Amazon has announced the general availability of the Amazon Q Developer plugin for CloudZero, extending cloud cost optimization capabilities directly within the AWS Management Console.

  • Available for Q Developer Pro Tier administrators
  • Enables accessing CloudZero cost insights through natural language queries
  • Users can prefix questions with "@cloudzero" to get cost information
  • Provides deep links to CloudZero platform for further investigation
  • Eliminates context switching between different tools

The integration allows engineers to quickly access cloud cost insights and optimization opportunities without leaving the AWS Management Console, supporting an engineering-led approach to managing cloud spend.
