2024 C5 Type 2 attestation report available with 179 services in scope

AWS has completed its 2024 Cloud Computing Compliance Controls Catalogue (C5) attestation cycle, covering 179 services and demonstrating ongoing commitment to cloud security standards.
- C5 is a German government-backed compliance scheme introduced in 2016
- Independent auditors evaluated AWS from October 2023 to September 2024
- 10 new services added to C5 scope, including Amazon Q, Security Lake, and AWS Verified Access
- Regions in scope include European locations and Singapore
- Customers can access the C5 report through AWS Artifact
The attestation helps AWS customers in Germany and Europe run applications with assurance of meeting heightened cybersecurity requirements.
