Amazon Redshift has expanded its Concurrency Scaling feature to the Asia Pacific (Malaysia) region, providing enhanced query processing capabilities for customers.

  • Elastically scales query processing power for hundreds of concurrent queries
  • Adds scaling resources transparently in seconds as concurrency increases
  • Offers up to one hour of free Concurrency Scaling credits for most customers
  • Allows users to control usage and specify scaling for specific user groups
  • Can be enabled through the AWS Management Console by setting Concurrency Scaling Mode to Auto

This expansion enables customers to handle fluctuating analytical demands with predictable costs and improved performance.
