AWS has announced the availability of DeepSeek-R1 models across multiple services, providing developers with flexible AI deployment options:
- DeepSeek-R1 models now available in Amazon Bedrock Marketplace and Amazon SageMaker JumpStart
- Models range from 1.5–70 billion parameters, reportedly 90-95% more cost-effective than comparable models
- Deployment options include:
- Amazon Bedrock Marketplace
- Amazon SageMaker JumpStart
- Amazon Bedrock Custom Model Import
- AWS Trainium and Inferentia EC2 instances
- Supports enterprise-grade security with Amazon Bedrock Guardrails
The release aims to provide customers with powerful, cost-efficient AI models that can be easily integrated into various applications with minimal infrastructure investment.
