Amazon DynamoDB now supports automatic quota adjustments through AWS Service Quotas across all AWS Commercial and GovCloud (US) Regions.

  • Users can now request account-level and table-level throughput quota adjustments
  • Quota modifications are automatically approved within minutes
  • Previously, AWS Support manually reviewed and approved quota requests
  • The service is available at no additional charge
  • Applies to AWS Commercial Regions and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions

This update streamlines the process of adjusting DynamoDB service quotas, providing faster and more convenient scalability for users.
