AWS WAF has enhanced its integration with Service Quotas, providing improved monitoring and management of cloud deployment resources.
- Users can now monitor account-level quotas for WAF resources like web ACLs, rule groups, and IP sets
- Certain service quota increase requests will be automatically approved, enabling faster access to higher quotas
- CloudWatch alarms can be created to notify users when quota utilization exceeds a configurable threshold
- Integration is available across all AWS regions where WAF is offered
- Accessible through AWS console, APIs, and CLI
This enhancement allows organizations to more proactively manage and monitor their AWS WAF service quotas, improving resource allocation and scalability.
