Amazon Bedrock Guardrails has increased its service quota limits, enhancing the scalability of generative AI applications.
- ApplyGuardrail API now supports 50 calls per second (2x increase)
- Content, sensitive information, and word filters can process up to 200 text units per second (8x increase)
- Provides configurable safeguards for filtering harmful content, topics, and sensitive information
- Can be applied to foundation models from Amazon Bedrock, self-hosted, and third-party models
- Available in US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) regions
The expanded limits enable developers to build more robust and scalable AI applications with enhanced safety and privacy controls.
