Amazon has expanded the availability of Amazon Nova understanding models across Europe and Asia Pacific regions, offering new cross-region inference capabilities.
- Available in European regions: Stockholm, Frankfurt, Ireland, and Paris
- Available in Asia Pacific regions: Tokyo, Seoul, Mumbai, Singapore, and Sydney
- Three model variants introduced:
- Nova Micro: Text-only, lowest latency, lowest cost
- Nova Lite: Low-cost multimodal, fast image/video/text processing
- Nova Pro: Highly capable multimodal model with best accuracy/speed/cost balance
- Models support over 200 languages
- Includes text and vision fine-tuning capabilities
- Integrates with Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases and Agents
Customers can now automatically route requests across multiple regions within Europe and Asia Pacific using cross-region inference profiles.
