AWS IoT Device Management has announced a preview of managed integrations, a new feature designed to simplify device control and management across multiple manufacturers and connectivity protocols.
- Provides cloud and device SDKs for connectivity support (ZigBee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi)
- Offers a unified API and catalog of cloud-to-cloud connectors
- Includes 80+ device data model templates for easy device integration
- Supports control of proprietary and third-party devices from a single application
- Enables building solutions for home security, energy management, and elderly care
- Provides built-in capabilities for barcode scanning and direct device pairing
Currently available in Canada (Central) and Europe (Ireland) regions, the feature aims to reduce device onboarding and integration complexities.
