Amazon ECS now offers GPU-Optimized AMI for Amazon Linux 2023

Amazon ECS has launched a GPU-Optimized AMI for Amazon Linux 2023, enabling customers to run GPU-accelerated containerized workloads more efficiently.
- Built on minimal AL2023 base AMI with pre-installed NVIDIA components
- Includes NVIDIA drivers, Fabric Manager, and Container Toolkit
- Supports multiple NVIDIA GPU architectures (Ampere, Turing, Volta, Maxwell, Hopper, Ada Lovelace)
- Works out-of-the-box without additional configuration
- Ideal for machine learning and AI workloads
- Available in all AWS regions
The new AMI provides improved security features and a newer kernel version, simplifying GPU-accelerated container deployments on Amazon ECS.
