Amazon has announced the general availability of S3 Tables integration with SageMaker Lakehouse, offering a unified data analytics platform with key benefits:
- Seamless querying and joining of S3 Tables with data lakes, warehouses, and third-party sources
- First cloud object store with built-in Apache Iceberg support
- Unified, open, and secure data lakehouse for analytics and AI
- Ability to query data in-place across S3 Tables, S3 buckets, and Redshift warehouses
- Fine-grained, consistent permission management across analytics and ML tools
The integration is available in all AWS Regions where S3 Tables are supported, accessible through SageMaker Unified Studio.
