SES Mail Manager now supports incoming connections from customer VPCs via PrivateLink

News

Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) has expanded Mail Manager's capabilities to support incoming connections from customer VPCs via PrivateLink.

  • VPC connectivity is the most-requested feature since Mail Manager's launch in mid-2024
  • Allows customers to route outgoing and incoming mail securely within AWS
  • Enables creation of 'Network' Ingress Endpoints by specifying VPC endpoint ID
  • Optional authentication for PrivateLink connections
  • Supports dual-stack (IPv4 and IPv6) connectivity by default
  • Available in all 17 AWS Regions where Mail Manager is launched
  • No additional SES fees, though standard VPC and PrivateLink charges may apply

This feature provides enhanced security and flexibility for AWS customers routing email through Mail Manager.
