AWS Transfer Family has expanded SFTP connectors to include new file management capabilities on remote SFTP servers.
- Users can now delete, rename, and move files on remote SFTP servers
- Enables easier management of remote file systems and directories
- Helps prevent duplicate file transfers during subsequent job runs
- Allows organizing remote directories by archiving source files after copying
- Available in all AWS Regions where AWS Transfer Family is supported
The enhancement provides more flexible file management for SFTP connectors, making it easier to maintain and organize remote file systems.
